Bucephalandra are aquatic flowering plants originating from Indonesia and the surrounding area. Bucephalandra can grow in both emersed and submerged conditions though they may go through a down period and experience some melting during this transition. High* light conditions are best if you want to see the true brilliant colours of your Bucephalandra though they will do fine in low - med light as well.
